  “Watch these guys - I gave a $40 deposit for a credit check, and their receipt said it would be credited to my rent, or if I was not accepted to the park, they'd refund it. After three months of calling, them not returning my calls, and me showing up on their doorstep asking for the status of my application, they denied my tenancy, supposedly based on the credit report. However, I have discovered that no one has requested my credit report. When I went to ask for my refund, the manager, DeLisa, said, Oh, we don't do that anymore. It seems obvious to me that DeLisa and her mother, who is co-manager simply pocket the $40 and then tell applicants that they were denied, in situations where the park is the owner of the mobile home being sold. They're still advertising the same mobile homes, and presumably accepting anf pocketing credit check fees on them, many months later. Why wouuld they want them sold, when it's a good, steady source for pocket money?”
