Country View is located in the southeastern Twin Cities' Metro area, on the border of Lakeville and Farmington. Because of its size, Country View has the welcoming atmosphere of a small town, yet offers the convenience of being close to shopping, recreation, schools, restaurants, and more. Besides three large parks, the community has a heated outdoor swimming pool during the summer months, staffed by lifeguards. Country View also has a large concrete and cage-construction storm shelter for weather emergencies. Each August, the community sponsors a catered event for residents in conjunction with the National Night Out activities that are held throughout the country to promote crime-free, drug-free communities.
