Sugarloaf Community is a family developed community. We have been managing and developing communities since 1966. We have family owned and operated 8 different communities over the years. Our approach has always been – build a great community – and great residents and neighbors will come. We pride ourselves on providing the best community the State of Louisiana has to offer while still providing a great value for the resident. We attract everyone from the first time home owner, to the older mature resident. We do not have or allow rental homes. Homes in the community are required to be owner occupied and new or like new. We are located in the city limits of Lake Charles and have city water, waste water and garbage pick up.
